WHere is a home-style version of a cocktail found on a new cocktail list. Designed as a large-volume premix that is loaded full of tastes of the Christmas time, which makes it ideal for your holiday party. Any leftover cordial you can use for breakfast cocktails, sweets, or to make more rounds of the drink.
Bikini Recipe
Makes enough for 10 people
For the Clementine Cordial (produces 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
Ingredients for the Premix (makes 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml London dry gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml clementine syrup (as made above)
Whole cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Instructions
For the Cordial: Place every components into a saucepan, bring to a simmer, mixing until the sugar dissolves. Next, remove from the heat and let it to cool down completely. Transfer into a sterilised bottle, close it and store in the fridge, it will last for about four weeks.
To make Premix: Combine every spirits and syrup in a big jug, leave to sit for 60 minutes, then pass it through preferably using muslin, so it's fully clarified.
To serve: Add 85ml of your batch mix into a cocktail shaker filled with ice, and agitate lightly for about 60 seconds to cool it down. Filter to a chilled martini glass or similar, decorate with some cranberries and complete it with a brief mist with the mandarin essence over the drink.
